Megan Hynes has been hairdressing since 1999 and has loved every minute of it. She began competing in 2002 and represented Geelong at the National World Skills Competition, achieving 3rd place at the Nationals. Since then she has won HBIA Beautiful Brides twice and placed another three times at the Australian hairdressing Championships.
Her love for bridal hair has seen “that blonde chick” become one of the best known names in bridal hair and makeup. Megan has taught her skills at Swinburne University, Gordon Institute of TAFE, Hair Up Educator with Turnleys Hair Products and is now teaching private lessons in her salon for hairdressers that need renewed enthusiasm and new ideas.

 

Tatania King has been hairdressing for many years, beginning her training in Melbourne and then worked at many high profile salons in melbourne. She has been extensively trained with Redken and her areas of expertise are precision cutting and skillful coloring. Tatania Is in the salon Tuesday-Saturday and welcomes all her new and existing clients.

Megan Lasmanis is our newest member of the team. Megan is in the middle of completing her apprenticeship and is loving every minute of it! She is currently completing her trade school at the Gordon Institute of TAFE and is excelling at her studies and competitions. She has a natural talent for hairdressing and customer service. Megan is bound to impress from the first moment you walk in the salon.

Naomi Curtis (Lalic) has been a name in beauty therapy in Geelong for years and we are so happy she has decided to base herself out of “that blonde chick.” Naomi specialises in Ayurda skin care and her skills are a beautiful blend of skill, relaxation, quality service and a beautiful personality. Naomi’s skills compliment the salon’s bridal work beautifully – providing the bride with waxing, tinting, tanning and general relaxation prior to the wedding. A great start to the bride’s wedding day beauty preparations.
