Ultimately our service is to make you look and feel amazing – which will in turn provide you with a fantastic start to the biggest and best day of your life.
Our service is designed around your needs and what is going to help you (your bridal party, and sometimes family and friends!!) get ready. We are only too happy to do just hair or just makeup; or both. Usually we start by establishing a time line – to ensure that everyone is done in plenty of time and what time we will need to start.
Any photographs or pictures of inspiration are greatly welcomed and it’s always exciting to see what you have in mind. I encourage all my brides when they have a trial to bring pictures of everything possible – dress, jewellery, hair accessories etc., as this helps me to see a “reoccurring theme” throughout the wedding. Trials may need to be booked up to six months ahead if you require a particular day/time, so please carefully consider this as part of your wedding preparations.
Wedding Prices
Hair Ups start at $95 – this includes: blow wave and/or curl preparation, pinned and styled half up, all up, accessories/flowers pinned, veil placement etc. Most styles are done at this price.
The price of more intricate/competition styles may vary.
Clip in hairpieces can be hired or purchased if necessary.
Makeup starts at $75 – False lashes are an extra $5 on top of the makeup price. Lashes used are either individual “flare” or strip lashes; they are designed to last 1-2 days; they are NOT lash extensions. For lash extensions I recommend Beauty by Naomi.
Prices are the same for Bride, Maids and trials.
Blow waves (for Mum’s) start at $45 and makeup starts at $60.
Flower girls and Junior bridesmaids can also be catered for and the prices are available on request.
Prices for travel really depend on the location of where you would like to get ready. I begin charging $30 as a one off fee if the location is 30km or more outside Geelong (central), but the common fees and charges are Queenscliffe $30, Ocean Grove $30, Portarlington $30, Torquay $30, Daylesfod $100, Lorne $100, Apollo Bay $100, Melbourne $100, Werribee $50.
A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required at the time of booking and confirmation of the wedding day appointment. This can be done via cash, eftpos or direct debit.
“that blonde chick” salon also offers brilliant cuts and colors and all prospective bridal clients receive a free KMS treatment with their color service. Don’t forget to make this part of your wedding day preparations!
